totally awesome! my mate nelv has dreads too, hes had them a while think its gotta be 2 yrs now, and the crazy thing! HES A HAIRDRESSER! all his clients love him.

closest i have gone to dread was, wraps - platted hair, then covered in wool, was cool for a while till they all untangled.

but mucho collieo for doing it, love the natural dread, because its natural. lookin fine :)

Not quite ;)

It is going rather short though! :)

I am wondering whether I will regret chopping them all off, but they'll grow back if necessary

I swear i am the project killer or something!

two days in a row i have found a new project i haven't read before, so i read them all they way through.

then to find the latest post is the OP telling me that the project is now being sold as a rolling shell, plus parts. Or that the project is now being cut off! haha.

Ah well, it was a mighty fine effort, and it tought me quite a bit.

I always assumes that you just stop washing your hair, a month later you have a head full of dreads!

I actually still have two stubborn dreads around the back but I'm almost done! Just waiting for the big chop! :(

Can't believe how long it got

hats off to you for persevering, don't cut it off! You're lucky you have great hair unlike my thin whispy locks. Leave it as it is for a while; I'm sure you will regret it if you give it the chop.

No no no, I think I will regret it if I don't go for it! It will give my hair a chance to grow afresh too, it's damaged from the year of knots and subsequent 3 days of combing

I'm looking forward to it so much! Worst case scenario is I have to grow it back, not the end of the world :genius:

Now gotta decide whether to dye it (and if so what colour!?) and I gotta get styling! :( ... And I gotta wear makeup to make me look older and more girly :I found it terribly humorous:
