I want to try and get some pics of both Josh's and my hair, he's knottier than me because he has more time to wear hats

New knots are slow to form but once they take hold there's no going back!
Yesterday I tied my hair back and Josh thought I'd combed it all out, he said he'll cry if I do and he hates my undreaded hair... He's gonna have to get disappointed one day

My trouble is that it takes so long for a knot to actually come together in the first place! Most people don't even realise I'm dreading even after 10 months because all my dreads are underneath and the visible hair on top is almost all still separate and wavy, I'm a patient person but when I look at Josh's hair (which has been the same time and is nearly all sectioned) I get really annoyed with mine!

I'm even considering backcombing and then maintaining to force it to knot... Don't tell the purists!

Well it's been over a year now for me, I have less fully formed dreads now than I had a few months ago because a few joined together!

Here are some recent photos anyway:

i had mine done prefesionally... she permed my hair into really tight curls... then seperated them into small chunks... back combed each section and gelled... i went back every three month or so to have them retwisted.. then they begun to twist them selfs from the root

these are mine about 8 months old
