Not particularly natural then! They look good now though and it's good that she's kept them for so long! Alot of people who want instead dreads end up cutting after a few months :D

Coming along well, plenty of new knots, I had about 10 define knotty bits but I'm probably up to about 20 now :) The newer ones are relatively loose still but tightening up quickly, and all my unknotted long hair is sectioning. The shorter hair where I used to have it layered is still not knotting so much, I'll have to wait for that methinks!

LOL!! I so wondered what you were going to say there! We're not cohabiting, but he has managed to get his knots trapped in my glasses and hair clips a couple of times :)

He did once knot some of his hair to mine as well, but only loosely so we were able to free ourselves before too long ;)

ive had my dreads for 3-4 years, they are not easy to maintain!!! if you are determined to keep them go for it. but they are hard work. mine are all natural. no back combing or knotting of any type. dreads look really good as the more the start to mat, so dont worry about what the look like. good idea is when drying your hair go mental with the towl. this helps to knot the dreads and stops them from pulling too hard on your head.

is that mini the minx mini, on the right there

Wheres the pics minili?

Yes, that would be me a long time ago.

How long did it take for your dreads to form fully Sat?

We need more pics, I want to see how its going!!

jojo hows it goit.

it took me about a year for the dreads to start lookin good. but they where tiny. looked funny. now there huge.

xx

Ah I'm so lazy. I actually tried to take pics the other day but it's hard to convey the knottyness in photos, it just looks like mess :)

I'll see what I can do, it's over 7 months now and I have lots of partly and some fully formed dreads ;)

OK here's an attempt...

A couple of pics where I'm holding some knotty dreadlets up on each side:

Posted Image

Posted Image

The first one which ever formed, now completely doubled back on itself and has no end!

Posted Image

The well formed one on my left side (and for shame my dirty hand - been working on the car this morning!):

Posted Image

A poor self-pic effort where you would never tell I was dreading up lol:

Posted Image

And just for jokes my hurr (and for some reason shocked face) right after washing ;)
