IIRC about 1/2 the weight of standard arms - straight swap

these look to me like they are the original cast ones that have been cut smaller and welded shut again not sure how much weight you would gain from these though or how well the weld would be cast-mild steel not always a good combination

as for making some i don't think that it would be all that difficult as long as all the bits are in the right place as someone said i think that a jig would have to be built

but that's just my opinion

The steel tubular ones are ones I made a few years back in T45 steel - before the lure of cnc'd parts took over!
