Morspeed Info

I have just found this thread and find it absolutely unbelievable and very worrying. I am currently battling legally with Morspeed over an engine my son purchased (sadly my son was killed and never got to drive his mini because Morspeed failed to deliver the engine when promised) - back in August 2007!!!!
Can I please ask anyone who is owed money or having problems as mentioned on this thread to contact me on my e-mail:
[email protected]
This will certainly help me with the current case and perhaps also help yourselves.
Thank you
Carol

Just a thought, but if eveyone experiencing problems with Morspeed was to contact the TV programme WATCHDOG we may get somewhere. I am certainly going to do this.

2) if his friend was a millionaire he would have a lawyer, and would have already been told to keep this away from an internet forum.
He meant violence, and know hes back tracking.

I have a morspeed engine, we have had issues, theyre being resolved.
but here is the thing. Simon phones me to see how things are going. Yes - he phones me.
people are still queueing up for his services, and the happy punters still seem to outweigh the unhappy ones.
I still find it bizarre that you all persist in this slating via forum - if youve got issues go see the guy - I did and they got sorted.
He does take on way more than he can handle - he doesnt like to admit he's too busy, and in fairness he's not good at managing a business.
but this has got to stop. No-one here as far as I can tell has told the whole truth regarding their individual circumstances, I'm fortunate in that I do get to see both sides of the story and a lot of this stinks.
My dealings with Morspeed have been complicated, but I'm happy with where I am at, and with what i have got. I am using another company to rectify certain things, but thats mainly down to cost and ease of locality.
I would prefer to see this this topic shut down - far less damaging threads have been binned almost immediately - anyone with serious issues should take suitable action, not drag it out on here.
flame me if you wish - I was unsure whether to post this because I'm not the perfect ultimately happy customer, but he doesnt need or deserve to be dragged through the muck like this, not when you are not getting a balanced view.
and dont expect him to come on and get vocal or respond - Youve all made sure he wont do that with your constant berratement.
thats it - no more from me - good luck to all I hope you get what you want, maybe if you back off a bit he can concentrate better and get you what you want.
PS.... generally speaking, threats dont go down too well and pretty much guarantee you go to the bottom of the list - not just here but pretty much anywhere.

Carol and I have told the entire story, in graphic detail. There is not a single fact left out, please read my report in the general chat forum. It include a full report on the condition of the engine we recieved.
Morspeed are bad news, it's a fact. No effort has been made to fix the issues, and the variations between what was ordered and what we collected (as he was incapable of posting it for 6 months!) were simply insulting.
I couldn't care less if you got you're problems sorted in the end, your PROBABLY (please note that my OPINION) 1 in a million.... We havn't, and Oli's family is still around £7000 out of pocket, thanks to Morspeed.
If you havn't got something helpful to say ...............?

I'm not sure - there is no hiding I like simon, I admire what he has tried to achieve - he made some disasterous decisions and put a lot of faith in certain areas that have come back to bite him on the arse - but at the end of the day there does genuinely seem to be a sersies of answers to a particularly messy period of time - I'm no fool - I have been in business and traded hard since I was 16, and I know when someones is telling the truth - there is a very genuine case to be answered against what is a very small group of people who have found a slow-moving band wagon and jumped on -the people showing adverse feelings to morspeed probably contribute less than 10 % of his turnover - and I re-iterate, I have consistently met more happy customers - many of whom are return customers like some of those now posting negative comments - and the majorioty of people I have had the opportunity to meet are extremely happy with what Morspeed produce.
Maybe I am unique - in business I have also made some pretty bad mistakes, and as such maybe I can give him some slack.
you guys can form your own opinions, but go meet the guy, talk to him, share his enthusiasm and look at what he actually aachieves.
recent threads are highly biased and not a fair represenatation of what Morspeed currently are - you really need to tread carefully because if simon wins through in court, having given the fuller picture to a small group of customers based upon his yearly turnover, a lot of what can been seen and found in here is extremely liablous. ( that may be spelt wrong )
Its so easy to post on here and 'speak your mind' but I would like to be fly on the wall in this court case when the fukl extent of the situation comes to light - its a farce,

Some of these comments are very upsetting to read especially in light of the fact that there is a third deceased party out there who cannot comment himself!
To put it simply, are you out of pocket in the sum of perhaps FIVE TO SEVEN THOUSAND POUNDS and have not received what you paid for. If you you have and are not upset by it then you are ONE IN A MILLION
