right we bought this from a scrap yard a while back and i cut it up to try get it to fit then lost interest, but ive been playing with fiberglass reently and i thought id see what i can do with it as it would be a waste of money otherwise.

its from a matiz

it does need some more faffing but im not sure if it should carry on

what do you think of it , do you have any ideas i can do with it

and it screws perfectly into the heater

imo, it makes the mini look too modern, doesn't appeal at all I'm afraid. But each to their own

Not for me, But yeah what you have done so far looks pretty awsome.
Looks quite racey, you could make it similar to what you would see in a Mini Miglia but rounder :

well i was thinking of getting it covered in materal with some nice stitching, it obviously wouldnt look as awful as it does atm, i mean so far ive chopped it and basically glued it back together,

but ill keep playing with it while im waiting for paint to dry etc

ill draw up a quick sketch on illustrator and see what i can get it to look like

just extending them, it did have dials for the heater but i was thinking of putting 3 clicks there instead, its all in my head i just know it wont look like it does in my head lol

Looks good mate, theres nothing wrong with a bit of modernisation - i like to think of this kind of modernisation as "Showing BMW where they went wrong and what they SHOULD of done".
