Newchurch, Romney Marsh, 10 minutes Dover side of Ashford. Its not really worth going there unless you buying anything. They haven't got anything on display really.

Right, this morning went to my mechanic friend and got anti freeze, handbrake adjusted and he gave me a free bottle of carb oil.

He also diagnosed the knocking noise, which was the suspension ball cup. The grease had dried up so that was soon fixed with some wd40.

He's a top bloke, nice guy, and has been showing and teaching me how everything works, which is a real bonus.

And another bonus he didn't charge me for any of the work he did today :)

Erm, I'm not 100% about this but if grease has dried up I'm sure it should be regreased. WD40 just drives moisture out of an area, it doesn't act as a lubricant.

There was still grease in there, it just needed to be lubricated.

The thing with WD40 is that it is a penetrating fluid, not really a lube. I would see about getting some proper grease in the joint!
