I'm interested in this sub and amp for all the wrong reasons. I like it because its orange ;D

Is mutant any good? I dont want back breaking bass, but do enjoy a bit of back massage while driving.

Mutant does the job, but it is cheap. Get yourself on e-bay, you'll pick up twice the quality of gear for the same price used!

Was that in sparesworld, ive heard mutant stuff and it was ok not awful but not brilliant, itll do the job. You should just buy a jbl sub there cheap, better quality and sound better, then try spraying it orange. U carying the orange theme on then are you?

A company called 'Hertz' do orange speakers by the way.. Just thought i would add that.

in my opinion, JBL and mutant are along the same levels, its still low end gear, along with Fli and SPLX and all those other cheaper brands.

Seriously, check out e-bay, i have seen some good stuff, going for rediculous prices on there.

i bought a cheap mutant hu when i had a corsa. It had a cheap feel to (but it was cheap), looked quite good and did the job and also could use sd cards, and had a USB port.

It gave the standard speakers quite abit more bass and slightly better sound than the standard corsa hu.

But then again my mate next door had a budget/cheap kenwood in his frontera, and the sound was really good, i asked what speakers he had as they were very clear and bassy, but he said they were just standard vauxhall frontera ones.
