Oooooh, my word! I've just read the Kinjo thread!

Everything is so black & white when you are a teenager full of other people's ideals, isn't it? Such righteous indignation in someone so young is frightening.

I hope your mind broadens with age, experience and your own thinking, Captainjack. I really do.

What with age comes nothing, other than grey hair. Surely if I feel this way now and I have enough knowledge to make these decisions nothing should have to change. If a decision is made, a decision is made!

At the age of 33, which I class as still young there is no reason as to why your sexual preferences should change!!!

Well no offence Matt, don't jump to conclusions. And I have clearly said I don't like gays, I said its wrong, is that not enough?? I just don't want to offend anyone on this forum as I would get kicked off and I don't want to be. I shall leave this topic as of now, otherwise I shall write things I may regret, or may not regret.

I think you have misunderstood me. What I meant is that I hope you become more accepting and less bigoted as you grow, that's all. I don't think sexual preferences will change markedly with age, although tastes can do. (I didn't mean that I hope you start fancying boys .Although that might turn me on.......... ).

(Un)Fortunately a bit more than grey hair comes with age.

with age comes everything. Im not the same person I was last year, life has changed me and Im nowhere near the person I was at 18. If your born, and thats you for life..no changes..no learning, you should jump off a bridge. If god made this world and the experiences we have..to not fully appreiate them is against god, wouldnt you say?

my old manager from my last job has two kids, 10 and 13 and an ex wife. hes 43 now, and is gay. Has always been gay but life..you think, you learn, you mature, you evolve. He would have been in denial for many years and I cant imagine how depressing that would have been for him, to suppress something so raw. It happens alot, people grow up and relise things. On the other hand...check out films like "but im a cheerleader", about a place where gay teens are sent to be made straight....places like that excist in the states. THAT is sick to me, makes me very sad:-(

Please don't be so hasty! At 17 I was a Christian. I didn't believe in sex before marriage. That was the way I was brought up. That's what parents & the vicar/youth workers said was the way "god" wanted me to live my life.
I grew up a bit. I realised I had my own brain & rational cognitive abilities.
I am now 33. Much of my life, my views, my perceptions have changed. I am an atheist. But, I have been in the same relationship since I was 16. We aren't married. I have been 'living in sin' for 12 years. As for the sex, well, I imagine I would be banished to an eternity of fire & brimstone if "god" saw me taking it up the tradesman's......... ......it's not natural!!

No. I haven't judged you. I am hoping that your opinions may mellow somewhat! But you seem to have cast judgement & rejected outright a very large number of individuals on this tiny planet based on who they fancy. That worries me.

few things jack....

firstly, a gentleman should never comment on a ladys age, just not polite;-)

next.....your not being judged for your choice, its your judgement of others choices. You dont have sex with men or have a relationship with them, but thats your "choice". If someone else chooses to, its neither right nor wrong,it just is what it is.

juju is only commenting on how angry and judgemental you see to be. She(and I) just hope with age,comes maturity. I dont want to hear of another young male stabbing their best friend because of a kiss.

Here here. People should just be accepted for who they are. I know loads of people who haven't been and it really isn't a good outcome
