the engine even in a saloon will see as am going to fit one in the shorty chassis
next week to see how much room have around it

Any pics of it in an engine bay yet? And also any new on getting a case to take a zetec? Spoke to someone today who said there doing one for a zetec but dunno if this is linked to you or not!

Looks interesting,had a look at an imp conversion last year,mini gearbox,imp top end,had a one off crank made for it,was a lovely bit of kit.
I was running a 1600 xflow in a mk1 escort a few years back ,went very well.I would think that one in a mini would be great fun.I like the fact that its not a full on engine change either,still got a hint of an a-series there.

got about 10 BDA's lying around at work, we are machining the bare cosworth catsings for burton power, retail about £4500 each!
