My reconditioned hinges and adapted door mechanisms (for the door poppers) arrived thanks to the guys at www.the-arc-angels.co.uk
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/DSC00060.jpg)
Which meant i could get on with fitting the doors...
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/DSC00062.jpg)
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/DSC00064.jpg)
Also managed to remove the ugly old indicators, and fit l.e.d. ones behind the grille
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/DSC00068.jpg)
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/DSC00070.jpg)
I think this gives the front end a much cleaner look... especially when the Carbon bumpers arrive
![](https://www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.png)
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/DSC00073.jpg)
I also managed to Tint my front headlights which should add to the overall black and gold look

rust...
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/P1010260-1.jpg)
and more rust

![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/P1010262-1.jpg)
Looks like i'm gonna have to find someone tat can weld.
Apart from that little upset, got a lot done, managed to re-fit the tinted lights and add the spring and catch to the bonnet so it closes properly.
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/P1010256-1.jpg)
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/P1010253.jpg)
Another major advancement is that i managed to fit the door solenoid to one of the doors... and... get it to work!!!
![Posted Image](http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp300/vtec_miniestate/Mini/lbw538l/P1010247-1.jpg)
note the temporary wires

Now the photo's really dont show just how well the poppers work, so I have uploaded a vid of them in action on youtube...
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.c...></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.c...6ZU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
The last one looks like i'm just hiding inside and pushing it out so here's one from the inside
