My reconditioned hinges and adapted door mechanisms (for the door poppers) arrived thanks to the guys at www.the-arc-angels.co.uk
Which meant i could get on with fitting the doors...
Also managed to remove the ugly old indicators, and fit l.e.d. ones behind the grille
I think this gives the front end a much cleaner look... especially when the Carbon bumpers arrive
I also managed to Tint my front headlights which should add to the overall black and gold look

Rust...
rust...
and more rust
Looks like i'm gonna have to find someone tat can weld.
Apart from that little upset, got a lot done, managed to re-fit the tinted lights and add the spring and catch to the bonnet so it closes properly.
Another major advancement is that i managed to fit the door solenoid to one of the doors... and... get it to work!!!
note the temporary wires
Now the photo's really dont show just how well the poppers work, so I have uploaded a vid of them in action on youtube...
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.c...></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.c...6ZU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
The last one looks like i'm just hiding inside and pushing it out so here's one from the inside
