And now the car is off the road for it's transformation into a vtec sleeper!

So the first thing i decided to do was loose a bit of weight! Not me the car!

Included on the diet was....

The rear doors



The side doors





and now the bonnet.... but thats very, very top secret!!!!!!

Looks good mate, how id you learn to do graffiti like that?

Should be prerty special when its finished.

Also do you know the name of the paint on the orrange clubby? you dont happen to have a paint code do you?

A couple of mates did the graff for me as a interim paint job... think i'm going to go back to primer red eventually tho... bit more stealthy.

As for the paint code i have no idea.. if memory serves me right it is the colour of a type of heavy machinery... like jcb but a different make.

what happened to our orange clubby, looks like it was a nice one i love clubman estates! might have to get one, deffinately do it red oxide! i love those wheels too!

God bless ebay, I managed to find centrecaps for my wheels... huzzah another tick of the list!





and also these... not too sure if i'll use these though as i really like the originally fitted peep mirrors... we'll see

Today more pieces to the mini puzzle arrived.



These are the solenoids (i've got two sets) that will allow me to open the doors without the need for handles

For that smooth look

... installing them into the fiberglass doors is gonna be a whole lot of fun

Now i have to work out how to fit them to the rear doors too

Oooh ordered the bonnet today

Its gonna take three weeks to come though

It's normally a stock item but because it's gonna be a little more bespoke than usual (more details to follow) it's gonna take three weeks... can't wait

Its based upon this.....



And these are the peeps that are supplying it, if anyone needs fiberglass/carbon panels check em out, very reasonable!
