I've heard from a few people that Quinn Direct are quite good for young drivers  Never tried them myself though

Just note

before you go filling in online forms/ringing them, Quinns don't insure cars over 20 years old

Always nice to hear a positive comment about a colleague, ive passed your comment on to her!

We do only start Insuring at 19, so we cant cover all young drivers im afraid, but if anyone over that age does have any queries please do not hesitate to pm or call and ask for Laura or speak to any of our underwriting team :dontgetit:

Does anyone know how you get on with Churchill Direct and modifications? They quoted me £1200 fully comp whereas Adrian Flux wanted £2200 TPFT.
Im gonna give them a ring anyways.

This got me confused 'because someone on here said "and they didnt mind that id modified it either" or something along those lines from tesco. then i read the terms and conditions and it said it shouldn't be modified!!!!!!. Can someone shed some light on this as its by far the cheapest quote. (£1000 fully comp)

Cr*p forgot the quote:

The number of accidents or claims for each driver does not exceed 2 in the last 3 years nor does it exceed 6 in total across all drivers.

The number of convictions, fixed penalties or disqualifications for each driver does not exceed 2 in the last 5 years nor does it exceed 6 in total across all drivers.

All NCD must be written in English and the NCD level shown in years and not as a percentage.

The vehicle is owned and registered by you, at your address and has not been modified or altered in anyway (including wheels, suspension, bodywork and engine) and you or your spouse, partner or civil partner (not business partner) will be the main driver.

I found that Tesco were quite good. I'm 18 and they didn't gasp at the fact that i'd modified my mini. I paid just under a grand on my 998.

There See.

Ill PM Pooky if he doesnt see this.

Footman James wins this year for us, well for Mikey362. Adrian Flux wanted over £1000 TPFT but we went with Footman James for £475 in the end.
