Let me know if you have any spares left over, particularly any MK1 bits, and I mean anything! I'm only in sheffield, too!

With the subframe off, the mounts aren't as bad as I thought.

Shame about the rest of the back end...

So I've been sticking it back together...

More to come...

I might get round to the rear subframe mounts tomorrow.
I want this finished now. Need to get my clubby out of Minimadmotorman's garage and move away from the dark side!

I'll pop through monday for a nosey. May even fetch my overalls.
You can clean the underneath up ready for undersealing! I'm not going to keep all the fun jobs to myself....

I still have my second car tucked away in one of the old man's garages - a 1982 MG Metro that needs more than a slight refurb - the last job I did was to patch the rear subframe mountings much like you, but without any fancy panels - just sheet steel & a big hammer! LOL

The car sat next to it might be more to the tastes on here though - Ma & Pa's 1963 Morris Traveller that hasn't turned a wheel for over 15 years! They've had it since new but it needs a full resto too.

Looking good guys.
Thanks.
Hopefully we'll have it finished in a few weeks. Then we can start terrorising the mean streets of Toy Town. I wonder how many people will point and laugh...
