The redish line is 17ish psi on the bleed valve, the green is actuator boost (7psi)

Got the front shockers fitted today (only had them 3 years). Hopefully they will help with the torque steer.

Also got the interior stripped out and fitted an old bucket seat to a metro subframe.




We reckon we've taken around 55-60KG's out so hopefully that will make bit of a difference on the strip. I don't envy John driving it down to Avon.

nice result lads, saw it at mitp last year going down the strip, was even quick then let alone what its going to be like now.
quick question, at what rpm did your t3 used to boost at?

my t3 see's a little boost at 3,500rpm, but doesnt reach full boost till 4K

And as you can see from the new graph's we now see 6psi at 3000rpm

Given it a little fettle tonight.

Weighed new seat it saves us 5kg over the original. Also lost about another 5kg with tactical use of the chisel and angle grinder.

Also rigged up a cold air feed to the air filter and installed a little valve so we can turn the part throttle lean off on/off. Should save us some fuel when pootling round on low boost.

Sorry for going back to the start of your topic , but i see you towed your metro home on an A-frame ? have you had any bother with the law doing that ? i ask because i used to do it alot , but got stop and told the car has to have tax/mot/insurance to be on the frame and A-frames are only ment to be used for recoving cars/vans short trips ,like removeal from a motorway ?? its such a grey area

Definately a grey area. We do have a trailer now and generally only use the a-frame for recovery purposes.
