The dizzy (and drive) is gone in favour of a Turbo Phil plug.

The dash is back in and the gauges plumbed/wired in.

The megajolt ECU is in it's permenat home and the loom is nice and tidy under the bonnet.

It has a siren and a warning message. It's mainly for when John is driving...

We've been getting on with the last few jobs today.

Some of the fuel pipes are a little too close to the exhaust for my liking, so I made a heat shield.

Posted Image

Then I fitted the new screen wash jet, the bonnet and grille. Took of the remaining stickers and gave it a quick wash.

Posted Image

By then, John had just about got over his hang over and showed up. We temporarily fitted his AFR gauge and got the mixture set something like right.

Posted Image

Then, on a stretch of private road, this happened...

According to the megajolt logs, 20.5psi at 6100 revs! oops. Next job was to take some of the preload of the actuator.

Last job was the most important.

After:

All that's left to do is put the exhaust clamp on with both halves the same way up. Then it can go for MOT.

Had a good weekend working on the shed. As usual everything has taken forever.

Hopefully the fuel pump and plumbing is in it's final location.

Everything is nice and clear of the exhaust and the pump is up out of the way above the subframe. Was a pain to do, but you can't put a price on safety.

I bit the bullett and booked the MOT for this wednesday, so we though we'd better double check for rust. Not our best idea...

The floor is nearly welded up now. Looks like Tuesday is going to be a bit of a weldathon.

Just had a delivery, looks much better :))

Andy yes, my welding is crap today.

Early start tomorrow. The MOT is at 10am and the interior is all over the garage and we haven't had chance for a propper check over yet :)/
