It will be even better when it hopefully runs!
LOL - I know that feeling! Spend time rebuilding an engine, carfeully put it back in place, connect everything up, check all connections "Right, here we go!" Click! - CLick? what do you mean click?!?!
Turns out I'd forgotten to recharge the battery!
Regarding your install - the air filter seems quite close to the turbo - are you going to rig up a cold air feed to the filter so it's not sucking in all the hot underbonnet air? IIRC, the Turbo bonnet had two extra vents due to the extra heat?

The air filter position isn't finalised yet. It's just wedged there while we get the cooling system and intercooler pipework finished.
You are also right in saying that the turbo bonnet had 2 vents in the middle. We had these on our turbo bonnet but unfortunately a blow out on the autobahn knackered the bonnet so we are stuck with a standard one for now at least.

Got the CPS fitted.
Fitted the boost controller. Kept it inside the engine bay to try and stop us winding the boost up all the time.
And I've done some plumbing.
I didn't allow for the length of the alloy bends when I measured up for the interfooler hoses, so I've got loads of hose and an elbow spare and a 45 degree silicone elbow on order.
All being well it should be running soon

New bolts welded into the exhaust clamp ( 20 minutes at 200 degrees in the oven for a preheat, just don't tell the wife )
Welded spring carriers onto the manifold (bent nails). cut it down to size and got the entire zaust fitted properly. We now have a Chav Cannon poking out the back.
Cable tied the pot joint boots, connected the gear linkage and checked the gears (they all work and we've had the box in bits!!)
Fitted the dizzy properly, wired in the ignition, hooked up the battery and tested for spark. All good.
Put some fresh fuel in and checked the carb didn't leak - it didn't
Crossed fingers and turned the key. It turns over a treat, gets a spark at roughly the right spot, but it won't bloody start >
Kept trying for a little while, got a back fire and some smoke from the ignition wiring. Then the starter started running continually. So we threw the towel in.
It will run at the weekend!!!

I know what its like when it doesnt start up first time, gets really frustrating , but it will be worth all the effort in the end

I reckon with about 14psi of boost it should be good for about 140bhp, but I doubt we will wind it up that far..
