So far I have had a looksie at the TDK and ABS motorsport items on their websites. And obviously there is the curley one (very expensive).
Just wondering if there was a dramatic difference between them for fit and finish.
Also on a side note the prices on TDK's and ABS motorsport's websites do they include VAT does anybody know?
cheers,

The maid difference between the TDK one and the Curly one is that the TDK one has a black line down the middle and the curly one doesnt. And its expensive to get carbon fiber cloth that wide, thats why the price is bumped up so much.
As for fit mine is a really good fit

I think I will be able to live with it for the difference in price between the curley and tdk one. 250 all in is a good price.
Cheers for the reply

Hi, i have the Curley roof, but its designed for race use.. not road so dont expect a show car if you fit one.. i had to blend mine with fiberglass to get it to fit flush around the edges - i wasnt that happy with the finish either (but to be fair to them i got it trade price in the end) and it was loads of hard work to get it right.
but now i have removed weight from an important part of the car further lowering the centre of gravity, and mines painted so looks stock..
Hi Mark, how much do you estimate the weight saving as please?
Thanks,
Chris

no roll cage?... thats a tad dangerous
i guess that depends how much of the old roof you cut out
a mini with a full sunroof doesn't have much left, but you don't here people saying you need a roll cage with a sunroof
