Would anyone out there have a wiring diag for the Open Classic. Haines don't do it and i want to redesign it.

Cheers in advance

Haynes do not do a Model specific Manual,.. It's done by years,.. So you'll need to find the manual that surrounds the date (was it 1991-2-ish?) of your car, there you'll find a Full car wiring diagram that you can study and 'improve' upon, where you feel necessary.

As far as i know (and i'm certainly not a BOC guru!) the only real difference on the BOC's wiring was the powered sunroof,.. other than that, all the intrumentation was fairly standard i.e. 2 clock set-up etc.

Also as far as i know,... they were issued with a Carb rather than an SPi unit,.. so there's none of the electricary for that either.

**I'll stress this, I'm no BOC guru so i could well be proved wrong regarding the electrics**

Yes the BOC will just use the same '1988 onwards' model year wiring diagram as far as the Haynes manual is concerned. It would have come with a HIF38 carburettor as standard and an extra in-line fuse with a white wire to run the electric Webasto sunroof (I'm never sure of the fuse rating though?). But that and the others are well documented in the original owners handbook.

You might find more help here?: -

But apart from the special extras plus the 1275cc engine, Cooper SPi type wing mounted auxiliary electric cooling fan and washer bottle in the boot, it's not that much different to most Minis.
