i bought this new dizzy and coil pack from H&H ignition soloutions from MITP. i will take it down to T&M in colchester to get it set up and see if Ray can eek some more power from it.

also i have found out via on here that the seat colour for my mini should be either Ochre or Geranium so i have sent Newton Commercial an email to see if they can do me a seat cover set and also matching original door cards. fingers crossed as i dont think there are many original sets left out there.

i sent an email to newton commercial to see if its possible to have a mk3 seat set made up in Geranium as a one off but they dont recognise the colour. they said they could send me some sample colours to view but not knowing exactly what colour geranium is myself it will be hard to choose. i will probablt keep my eyes out at shows and hopefully find one an owner of a mini who i could chat to.

As far as the new floors go i am going to have them sprayed properly in blacktulip so its a proper job. i did think about por15 but real paint is the way to go. i will be taking it down to the bodyshop maybe next month to have it done.

If it helps i think geranium is a dark red, with a purple hint. ;)

Your mini looks really neat, the rev counter will suit it well.

Fantastic mini you've got there. Geranium is a bright red, a bit like 70's flame red paint but maybe a bit more orange. My 72black tulip GT had geranium side stripes, interior, seats, door cards and even the inside of the door seals also a very bright red carpet. Quite garish but very 70's.
Don't sell, you'll regret it as I do.

None of the interior sorry, it was the gt anyway so seats were different. The seats are rare yes, I was a total **** and threw away the original seats in my car to replace them with red leather mkIII riley elf or wolsely hornet seats but it was about 15 years ago and it seemed fine to do that then. I skipped alot of the original parts of that car.
Threre was a complete interior in geranium for a gt for sale on here a month or so ago, the seller was asking £250 I think
I've got pics of the car if you want to see but there old grainy exterior shots only.

Yeah, even the normal early clubman seats are getting difficult to get, I'm always looking for some fronts for my 71 clubby as I sold them for £20 to replace with cobra classics, another bad move on my part.

i sold my new cobra classics front and back and bought some MK3 dark navy seats, even though they have a few rips on the drivers side seat. Nothing beats the original interior. Just wish i could find the geranium interior for it.
