I got the Canon 450d kit too after dropping my Pentax when i was in Berlin, so i spoilt myself...The 450d is a great Camera for begginers im told, pretty technical if you ask me!! and as for other Objectives and lenses it can be a very expensive hobby, like everything in life eh =) Incuding Minis!!

here are a few of my pictures...great fun to be had with any camera if you ask me!!

A few of my fav's. All taken on a 450D with a sigma 18-200 lens. Im pretty new to this aswell, but im more of a photo in action guy rather than going looking for a good photo. A few of mine over the past 6 months;

First play with it at a friends party

A performance of Rent i was sound teching for;



And a recent one of me and my brother (in the grey vest) in the garden with the sun out, this was the camera on auto in the hands of my brothers girlfriend and i think it coped pretty well for a direct shot in the sunlight, i really like this photo for some reason.

how do you do that thing where the girl is going grrr , how do you actully do the grrrr thing whats a good camera aswell , to use for car photo shoots

For the 'Grrr' thing, (painting with light), you need the camera set for a long exposure then use a torch or similar to write or draw pointing towards the camera lens. Really easy to do too.
