Thank you

I try and do everything 'in camera', but I would say about half of them are tweaked....1/4 only cropping/ contrast....1/4 more in-depth effects.

PS....MAC  Great for image/ video/ photo work

I dont own any photobooks however, i do get a monthly photo magazine....depending on whats in them...buyers guides etc (a Mini magazine for the photo world). These are great for inspiration and tips and what not with photoshop....

Biggest piece of advice just practice and take hundreds of shots....the best way of learning is by doing (for most people)

Kit lens is an 18-55mm lens (it is for the canon anyway!) - All it is basically is the standard lens that gets sold with the camera body!

ahhh, so stock len sorta thing?

How do you get such fantastic shots too bean?- never really asked before..

They all just seem... dramiactic, that goes for you too ERA, I love the different mix of colour, and how the blue eyes, on the black and white one, just sort of give the whole picture drama..

Also the sunsets, the deep couplr, the depth of the picture, the clearity!
Yeh I love it all

Practice, practice, practice!

The magazines are useful as there's 'how to' guides in there - worth reading through if you can get your hands on some. Also, I find you can learn alot from forums etc. There's some online sites too which give you video tutorials etc.

I think, in the end, it's all about research and just being prepared to find out about the areas that you love.

Why's this topic in General Silly Chat?

I don't find anything silly about Photography.

Moved to general chat.

Here are some examples of my Photography.

It's an interactive gallery where you can view the images at multipe angles. If you click an image your screen will zoom in onto it. Each image has a flip button at the bottom right corner, which when pressed you can view details of that specific album, and provide you with a button to view that specific gallery.

I'll be updating it with my latest additions when I find the time.

Let me know your thoughts on the Photos.

Dom...thats great

I was looking for an interesting website/ style to show my work.

The only problem is that it keeps opening up a new window, even when prompted to go back to main index...I soon had a dozen screens open.

Is this your design or is this a web provider/ program you have used?

PS the photos are great also
