Just wondered is there a massive difference between genuine rover sportspack arches and the non genuine ones has anyone fitted the non genuine ones ? £300 seems bit steep for 4 arches. Really want sportspack but not that huge price tag.

ABS make smooth Sportspack arches without the front bumper recess, the rear bumper thing or the silly side repeater dent. They are very good quality and worth every cent.

(by the way I have no connection with ABS motorsport)

Thanks they look good have you got them yourself? Do they still fit nicely behind the front bumper even without the recess.

Hi,
Maybe this has been answered previously... But, does anybody know what these arches are?
I've only ever seen them on this particular car in this particular picture - but no info attached regarding it.

Thanks,

They are not fitted yet, I MAY need to trim the bumper slightly. Have you seen any genuine sportspack arches where the bumper lines up with the recesses properly?

Shukran,

Ye I have seen quite a few that match up really well, most being late rover minis that have been factory fitted. Saying that there are a few around my area and they are definitely after market. They seem to match up nice aswell.

Right, I've just flicked through the rest of this thread. I have some ABS Group 7's to go on my shell which i'm restoring. I'm wondering if anyone had any pictures of them fitted with 12 x 6" wheels on. Wondering if they'll fill them or not. I know it says in the OP about 7" wheels or wider..

I'm also running metro 4 pots so that gives me some extra spacing. Want to know before it goes off to the body shop to be sprayed.

I have a standard, 88 Mayfair with standard wheels and arches.
Are there any arches that are slightly smaller?

I have 10x6's ready to go on my mini and i love the look of group 2 normal arches. Reckon this photo is of 10x6's? if so do you reckon i could just get away with it being road legal if i have the tyre   a smidge outside of the arch like this photo? Thanks.

Yeah you'll get away with that, it'd take a pretty miserable policeman (or woman) to pull you over

Hi all does anyone no which arches i would need for some 10x6 Exaction split rims wheels? The car has the standard spacered drums at the back and a cooper s conversion on the front?

I just got some group 2 arches and went to fit them but there seems to be a lot of body work showing under the arch. Is this right? I thought they would hug the original profile a little closer. I think my ride height at the rear which is high is not helping much. Any ideas?Attached File  image.jpg   25.54K   50 downloads Attached File  image.jpg   25.56K   37 downloads
