In answer, no he hadn't asked to use the text.... I'm sure he lives local to me though IE It's Mike, the guy that stopped me at the traffic lights a few weeks ago in the blue 4x4.

insted of doing that and putting a lock we just state in small print that hey have to have permision before quoting or be part of the group with a registerd designer

Because that won't work. People don't take notice of things like that at all.

The only way to stop copy pasting would be to (and i hate to say this) have the text as images, this wont however stop them from re-typing the text, and the search engines wont be able to read the text at all. There really isnt a way to stop people who are going to copy material, even with a right mouse lock the could still use Ctrl-C.

The only thing to do is to include a legal disclaimer, saying that if the material is used then legal action will be taken.

No other ideas really, I looked at sIFR but it doesnt really help in this case.

Site's clumsy enough in places without adding clunky images and a legal disclaimer counts for squat in reality.
