Bad News!

Was driving back from my brothers house (about a 2 minute journey) and mary start seriously struggling, jerking backwards and forwards and generally leaping all over the place. It was almost like she was being starved of fuel, but with the horrendous backfiring that seams less likely. When i pulled into my drive... she stalled... and now she runs for a maximum of about 15 seconds before stalling again.

Combine this with the fact that im 99% sure that all 4 shock absorbers need replacing and were basically left with a very problematic mary.

No idea what Im going to do... dont even know where to start, and with a trip to france this weekend to look at houses, there is no money left at all.

Going to go out in a bit and start fiddling, and see if its just a loose something..... wish me luck, but we might not be able to bring her to IMM

Im going to try and go to my happy place now..................................

sorry to here the bad news mary, GDx chick i was thinking were would the easiet place for me to meet u lot or are u still cool with Maccy D's, let me know and i will try and sort something out with u lot woooooooooo we are so close now. to everyone that is coming ive got some stuff from my designer that im willing to bring with me and give to you lot that are restoring it back to original, pretz remind me to bring the stero and the speakers, what ive got


Ive Got Both Side Nimbus Grey Wing Mirrors if anyone needs a new one,
ive got the headlight trims in nimbus grey but could do with a restore,
ive got other bits and bobs aswell which i will list when i find them,

On a whim, spend £7 on new points and condenser & slap in as per Haynes. Sounds very much like yours have gone bye-bye. If so, that'll sort your temperamental lil Mini out. They usually play up like that when points/condenser are fried! It's a quick & easy fix.
