Does anybody know how food is done at IMM, I think the tickets include some of the meals - just debating taking a BBQ for the rest.

Excited but nervous here - first mini event! You remember that feeling you had when you had to use a communal changing room for the first time, kinda like that - I dont want everyone laughing at my mini (ok bad example)

change of plan about meeting at mine people as like i said the other day to michelle im not sure as where im going to be living im happy at meeting at star city to be hnoest will be easier for the other people travelling to find us lol. just as long as thats the way there going to be coming into brum. bled the clutch at work and have now moved daisy back to my house yayayay and G.D will give him a looksie and see what he says im currently using mg mini and metro spares in cotteridge havent let me down so far and fixed my loose exhaust and rear suspension lol.

Just a quick note to you white designer owners.

halfords DO NOT stock the correct rover white diamond, they only stock NMZ, a white designer is NMN. at the counter they will tell you that it is the right colour, but it isnt.

they are however able to mix it up, either in aerosol or for a spray gun.

I rang there supplier today to find out the paint code of the colour in the can, and asked if they did NMN, they dont anymore, because there is very little demand for it.


Should save you guys a bit of money and time if doing any touch up jobs.

thankfully the guy whos doing my mini got some befor they cancled the other paint is it water based or something? i duno aparently its cheaper but he got me some white dimond so im ok phew lol
but its good to know that now so anyone who is doing there whitr one aswell take heed of what hris has said

haha pretz chill i had to sell my soul to work for a week to be able to cover mine and the misses tickets lol. im trying to decide on what size tent i shud get lol i was going to be a party pooper and go home and sleep in my bed on the nights but the misses has told me (DEMANDED) that i buy a tent and sleep outside with u guys lol even tho i live 5 minutes away lol. haha i mite go home in the mornings to get breakfest hahhahaha. i cant wait but shud i get a 2 man tent or a 4 hmmm decisions decisions what u lot reckon.

haha dont be a party pooper camp under the stars lol im going to bring my gas ring cooker thing so we dont have to start any major fires to cook anything lol i think im going to try and get a cheap gazeebo to so we can all huddle under it if it pees down! im thinking aswell we should do a competition or something as im poping to london next week and going to mary quant shop to see if we can get a goody bag or something ( as im going to be buying stuff anyway and useing my quant membership card hehe ) so we might get some bits, but what do you guys think? because we could either do it just for the group ( excluding me because id set it up ) or for everyone at imm like a raffle then that way money can go towards funding for our group? what do you guys think? pound a strip? lol

ok if you click on that yourl find their gear knob and key phob. ok its a great product but i will quot them on **** not intended for pull ups, asin the gear sticks you pull up to put in reverse!!!***

ok is it me but arnt all minis a pull up gear stick?
so why cant we pull it up is it badly made that it just rips off!
had to have a moan as i liked it but that killed it :*(

Sounds to me like he means pull up reverse such as on the corsa's ( a little ring under the gear stick that you lift instead of the whole stick. It should be fine with the mini, just put a glob of 'NeverGunnaGetThatIlligitimateChildOff Superglue' on the top before you screw it on

I'm still left to pay as well - think I might have to sell the wife to pay for our tickets!

The only tent I have is massive, so going to have to buy something a little smaller me thinks!!

well im selling lotsa stuff on ebay atm to promote money for my ticket to try and get some more for a tent haha
my old one leaks as i found out at v fest
oh its going to be exciting

Front O/S Hub Carrier
Ball joint Kit
(potentially a new O/S caliper)
Distributor Vacuum Hose with the little suckers on the end.
Something to get the bolt out of my head which sheered off.
Replacement Bolt as above.
New Distributor
CB Ariel (sp?)
Steering Gaitor
Brake Disk Sheild O/S Bracket (i lost my temper and cut it, still didnt help remove the damn thing)
Oh isnt it all fun....

Theres no way Mary will be fit for IMM at this rate - also need to stump up the cash for Gotta and were going on hols in a few weeks :'(
