We need to arrange a 21st Birthday gathering for June 14th (ish) as 15th is a Monday.

Also need to arrange a stand for IMM2009 and a meeting point for L2B & Himley for those going.

How did you get on with our memorabilia stuff?

cool whos birthday, were abouts roughly?
stand hmm we can try and see if someone in the group can do some banners
iv got balloons and stuff in the shape of the daisy to decorate an archway full
marys finishing her resto now so sherl be shiny bright
memorabelia well i found the usual like keyrings and stuff but what i might do is give everyones pack something vintage from mary quants collection of clothes like one pack of her glitter socks or something i duno i need to get hold of my friend to ask about something special though and iv got a few ideas just need to source the right people
but its going good

Pretz, it's the DESIGNER'S birthday The Mini Designer was let loose on the world on June 15th 1988. Shame on you for not knowing LOL We need to arrange a group-meet to celebrate its coming of age!

MaryQuant has offered to help out with banners and such alike should they be needed and is now kindly hosting the website for us too, which I just listed with Google.

well outside her shop in london is a taxi rank haha
but i can ask when i go to london at the end of th month and try and get something sorted out were they might let us park up for 20 mins just to take pics and buy some stuff then go off lol
or we could all go to gaydon lol

For the Quant shop gig

I don't think a track day'd be suitable really, I don't think many of the members want to thrash their cars like that. We really should put it to the vote/gather opinions.

Will have to count me out of the birthday bash im afraid. Taking the other half out to Menorca for a fortnight to compensate for the fact that everything in the house, including her is covered in engine grease.

Ill knock up a design for a stand for IMM if you like.

We're on about IMM2009, which is up here in sunny Brummagem in August.

£55 each, it's a weekender/camping show. I'm working on numbers for a group-buy on the tickets and looking for a few of the guys to sit on a club stand...
