My engine sits a little further forward that most so to clear the cam cover I decided to extend the front by about 15mm.

The reason the clutch cable is done like that is because I had already cut the top part of the arm off. The way the cable comes out is abit of a pain but it works at the moment.

Yup Im running standard injection at the moment but the engine wiring made me wish I was running carbs.

Your project will be amazing when its done Atchi. Im sure it'll be worth the wait.

Its mot'd now but I couldnt get the paperwork done before I left for uni. So now its all packed up and on stands ready for the winter while Im away.

Did the garage say that yours might have to go to Gillingham? They said that to me and they told me they also said it to you aswell. :)

No they didnt mention anything about going to Gillingham. Whats that for?

Glad to hear you have got yours MOT'd now, a bit gutted about it not being ready for uni, but still its all wating there for you to play with it when you get back.

Mines still playing silly buggers, iv traced it back down to fuel entering the fuel rail, but not leaving...

So i think there is something up the the FPR.

I would give you some but Im currently about 200 miles away from the car. :shifty: Also the car has been abit rushed and alot of things will need redoing. My dash is pretty epic though. Ill see if I took a pic before I left.

I do like the subtle extension to the front end, won't look very obvious, and have to say to job chappy, loving the work, So how many man hours have you put in and to roughly what cost?

No comment on the cost  Never really did a total but I think it cost more than it should of. Making 2-3 versions of the subframe and redoing cocked up fuel lines etc etc all added up.

Never really did a tally of hours either but it took me just over a year to finish. I wasnt on it every day though. Maybe did an average of 5 hours a week? Working on my own though.

Thanks for the comments though.

Right sorry I havent updated for a while. Im back at uni now after not touching the mini during my Xmas break (got exams soon).
Also sorry, I didn't have any pictures of the abortion I called a dash. It wasnt the KA either.

I've had a quick route round and found some pictures that I hadn't put up yet. So here they be:

Please ignore:
The terrible paint, it was to stop it from rusting away
My stupid finger in one of the pictures,
The terrible fit of the bonnet,
The mess of my drive,
The fact the sun is out in those pictures, depressing isnt it?
