You might want a bit more triangulation on that frame jammy or it looks about as strong as a digestive biscuit. But I am totally impressed that you have stopped buying stuff and actually moved on from the conception stage. Now enough nice-ness. Get the fcuk on with it!

I went to do some more work last night, mainly finishing welding up the passenger side air vent, then doing the closing panel and then the scuttle repair. Didn't get very far! The welding tip kept fouling up, and the wire kept sticking. New tip, all good for about 10 seconds. This added to my cheap rubbish welding helmet that doesn't stay up when I want it to (no smart remarks about things not staying up!!) lead me to smash the dam thing on the floor when the wire feed started playing up! So, new welding lense today whilst I wait for a new helmet, and a new liner before I look at getting another welder!!

Yea, I've calmed down now. Its unusual for me to throw things around like that! I'm normally quite a calm person! lol I'll get the parts at lunch and try yet again tonight.

i see you have some of the screwfix special offer axle stand that are too chuffing big to go under the car!!!!!!

Erm, can't remember where I got them from actually. Think it was my local Motorsport shop, along with a jack. They happen to be the smaller of the 2-3 sets of stands I have! lol
