Looking good Jammy. I think your aim from now on should be to do so much work and update this thread as often as possible so it stays at the top!! Is it still on target for Germany??

Ha ha, yea, thought this might be the case. I have a couple of rose joint bottom arms and had wondered whether a high tensile bolt just supported from the back of the subby would be sufficient, but had planned to go the same way you've done yours!

Tom, I'm hoping to be working on it so much I won't have time to update this project thread! :w00t: Yea, it WILL be done for Germini!!

HOWEVER, I have thought about just working on the main mechanics and stuff, leaving the 'making it look good' phase until after Germini. So the plan may yet change to rat look Vtec for Germini, and then rebuild after to make it a show stopper. Might still incorporate some of the trick bits before Germini though, but my priority is getting the body welded up, getting the subframe done and engine running and then the custom cooling system (with carbon roof!).

just read your whole thread Jammy....well your at like square 2 now, after a couple years
And what are you doing with that "custom" grille, you mentioned in the early stages...are you doing it like a Dodge Charger idea? (with the headlights hidden behind the slats?).
well good job, I guess, you've seemed to just spend lots of money to me

I was trying to get the balance just right (metaphorically and physically) between over-engineering and keeping the weight down!

hmm, i think you could trim a little off the driverside of the frame so the gap matches the passenger side??? and maybe a little more off the front? ;D :proud:
