surely it would be cheaper to get the +120 thou pistons from Australia and have a dish machined into them?

great progress buddy :shifty: keep it coming

cheers mate, im doing my best! lol

blimey cradders 800 QUID !!

i know mate, its allot of money, its more than the whole project will cost, im thinking +0.020" pistons from mini spares for a fraction of the money, and when its worn out at least the block wont be scrap!

surely it would be cheaper to get the +120 thou pistons from Australia and have a dish machined into them?

it would almost be cheaper to collect them in person mate!

Don't know if this is of any use to you mate, but these guys have virtually every piston known to man, and they're fairly local!!

68mm o/d, with 3 valve cutouts per pistons, and a small dished area in the centre to create the correct c/r.

personally i dont think they are worth spending £800 on then. minispares aus +120 thou (67.6mm) pistons are cheaper and maching a small dish and some fly cuts for the pistons will work out at least half the price if not more

http://www.minisport...au/prod1094.htm

with the shipping it looks like they work out at about £100!!!!!! for a set
