Well, you've obv logged in to TMF.... why dp you need the darkside?

I got round it by installing FireFox and using that just for MiniFinity.

It's worth using Firefox a lot more as there was a problem here on TMF with someone leaving viruses that people got via I.E.

Firefox is much safer.

I actually gave up on that site after a member was extremely rude to me,

Not stirring, but Callum wasn't actually being rude. All he said was that he preferred to see somebody doing the work themselves instead of giving Dr Bob a blank cheque. Which Taffy proceeded to take rather badly.

To be honest I would just ignore it, if it's anything important from someone who really knows you they will get in touch one way or another. When Sy and I left MF we got gazillions of message emails, but made a clean break and never logged on again. The people we love know how to get in touch with us- that's all that matters

Back to the question in hand....

Best bet is to try and contact one of the admin on there. Other than clearing your cookies I can't see there is much more that anyone else can do?

Clear the cache, temporary internet files and cookies all at once.

it took absolutely months to get my account back. i had to put a guest topic up in the "help" setion or whatever and they removed the dashes (-) like in my tmf username so i could log in again. i dont even like it there anymore. the forum design is nasty and the help and members are much better here...

Oh for god sake that was ages ago so why bring it up now? It was my choice to leave Minifinity for good and just hang out here, which is a far nicer place to be.

I've got no bad feelings towards anyone on Minifinity, so just why are you harping on about something that's long gone?

Move on, most of us have!

Thanks for all the stirring- totally unnecessary and tiny minded behaviour on your behalf. All I wanted to do was get to my pm, which I have now managed to do, thanks to the nice people on Minifinity who have resolved my log in problems. Won't bother with this place anymore. Taffy see you on MCR
