There are 2 wires, 1 spade, 1 bullet, just plug them in then your away!
The 110mph speedo is a tricky one, if it was me i would swap the speedos over, take the plastic shroud off, remove the plastic dial covers then theres 2 screws on the back, undo these and it should pop out, saves messing with milage aswell.

You will need the frame for the 3 clock binnacle, unless you have a dash then you just put it to one side.

thats what i was thinking about doing swapping them over, but then would have to dials with the magnolia dials, and the speedo in black ?will just fit the new clocks and figure out how i can use my sat nav to work out my speed, simpler option for a novice

Oh yeah, oops.
Erm... you can get 90mph magnolia facias but there is slight differences between a magnolia 90 mph and 110 mph, think the 90 ones are aftermarket, but I have never seen a magnolia 90 mph facia in a aftermarket set, I picked one up from an autojumble at a show. You could try and look for aftermarket facias, dont know if they have started doing 90 mph's now.

They also do a conversion for your rev counter that makes it work with either ignition type, I think thats about £50.
Check out their site, all the info is there.
I have the same problem with mine!

Speedy cable charge about £70 to recalibrate your speedo, but you have to take measurements; of the wheels, and how many times the cable that feeds the speedo turns when you push the car for 6 turns of the wheels.

Thats seem abit steep £120 to re calibrate the speedo and rev counter, looks like ill stick with the 2clock binnacle, as there are more important things to spend the money on, from the NEVER ENDING to do list on the mini

as for the rev counter my mini is a 1976 car and originally had the 2 clocks, but when i fitted the 3 there was already one wire in place for the rev counter, it was the bullet connector one, think its black and white??? i then added a live wire directly from the fuse box so it worked with egnition and plugged that into the back of the rev counter, works a treat.

As above mate, the actual rev clock connectors look like this (on the right)

Have you also got a new dash panel to put in?
I did so I was lucky as the 'C' shape bracket (see below) I got on my new 3 gauge does not use the existing holes from the 2 gauge bracket bars that you access from the engine bay.

I could'nt even get the original bracket bars (from the 2 gauge) to align with the new 3 gauge as the holes were in the wrong place and didnt fancy drilling through it, maybe someone here has?
And getting the old dials out is easy, a few push-fit-clips

Then two screws either end of speedo cable back and the dial falls out forward

But I had problems getting the two small screws out of the speedo dial and made a meal of it!!!

So just a heads up, dont do what I done, use a pozi head instead of a phillips........

I was lucky with my dials as the speedo shows the right speed if I look at the km/p/h rather then the m/p/h and the rev counter is showing double!
Zed
Haha least it saves having to have the speedo re-calibrated if you can just use the kmp/h
