so what are you going to do to cover it then?

Are you just going to leave it open?

hmmm, was thinking about a "small" scoop, but one thats attached to the carb/filter, rather than intergrated with the bonnet. :)

cant wait, shouldnt be long, once its painted all i got to do is find all the parts and superglue them back on

Well superglueing has begun!
Started it on monday, and i am progressing at an ok speed.

Wireing is in place, just got lights to connect (will be replacing a large part of the loom with new wire).
Brace bars are on and starting to put flip front on. (subframe needs moving slightly as its off to one side).
Steering column and switch panel are in.
Quite a few little bits are in (just cant think of them at the mo)

Hard to think of whats left to do (find more to do the more I do).

but mainly:-

Brake pipes,
lights (may need some newer/better ones),
fuel tank,
boot lid,
interior (got to get some carpet),
windows.

I think those are the main things.
Oh, doors and flip front.

Will be getting my wheels powder coated white,
and will have to get tyres for them (A032R) ;)
but then i also need arches, and disc brakes. and thats more things to decide on.

Then the only things to sort are the engine and front subframe (will be done when engine is).

And i have a list of things i have to get (well ok more want to get, but i will get them!!!).

So anyway heres a picy or two.

Bubble wrap is to stop the flip front damaging the paint on the scuttle.
