Cool, will be trying to get a vid or 2 of it, and ive got some time to try and sort any issues that might crop up in the mean time.

Yeah the suspension setup was a very good deal :D

I think if i ever get a job that pays enough i might take it there for other stuff like body work etc.

Thanks :-

Today ive added the cross bar that goes just behind the seats.
Tomorrow ill add a bar that will go vertical to join the crossbar to the floor bar
I can then build the bulkhead off of that.

Also need to fasten the battery down as its not held down by anything so its vibrating.

Going to start cleaning things up (give it a hoover and then install the carpets) and possibly a wash for the first time :withstupid:

I plan to go to avon, dont know what will have been done to the engine (hopefully a rebuild and some tuning)

Megasquirt is fine now after sorting the odd problem (really mistakes by me :withstupid: )
Its going for a setup on the 13th this month so i should be able to get some info on how the engine is performing.

We tried to sort a rolling road day, but we never got enough people interested, and as it was either dependent on the date, which couldnt be set till we had enough people, and when a date was suggested we didnt get a reply  So unless we try again, set a date straight away with enough time to book the day etc. I think it might be easier for a local club to sort it and then allow others to come along.

I dont know why more people dont like playing with fuel injection :-

Are you going to have the 16v going for Avon?

;) Got there and had a bit of a setup, but found a problem with higer RPM it was spurting oil from the pan/block seal, so couldnt go too high as it was running low on oil so had to stop.
After some tuning (still not 100% yet) the max was about 4000rpm :- with about 70whp :D
So have to sort the oil leak and i think it was having the odd RPM spike!! Then it can go back and be finished off.
Also there was a problem with the tires (big ones to fit on the RR) they were slipping!!

BIG TIRES on 12" wheels

Olive did a little weee!!! :|

Here is a little video, this is only of the engine warming up, and doesnt really get above 2.5k RPM ----> YouTube
Will get a better one when it goes back and see what its like at 7000rpm :D

I have sorted the oil leak, and have stopped the RPM spikes (went all the way to Bingley and back with no engine problems.
Although there was 2 electrical problems, with 2 grounds coming off,
one was for the electronic box that sends the signal to the speedo so my speedo stopped working, but was an easy fix,
the other was the ground for the dash which was also an easy fix but to get to it we had to remove the dashboard in the car park at bingley!!
luckly we had tools with us.

Today James gave Olive the first wash she has had since ive owned her :) :P :w00t:
So took some pics as i dont think it will happen very often.

From that last pic, it looks like you don't have a rear bulkhead?

Just been catching up on the full evolution of Olive, what an awesome read!

I am just going over to EDIS, with Megajolt lite on mine. Where did you get the trigger wheel from as I need to do something for mine?

And now it's a Swifty engine, wowzers!!! Great stuff! She looks soooo cool now!

:P Thanks, With her looking soo clean it really does spur me on to start sorting out other bits that i may have neglected recently.

I actually bought the trigger wheel from MiniSprocket as he bought another one built for the A series engine,
you can get the same one as i have from www.trigger-wheels.com as well as many others.
