that was blooming quick, spent 4 years getting mine on the road, and its still a tatty old mini.

hows it feeling on the road??

mines still C**p up front, thinking of investing in a Zcars front subframe.

have you got the engine covered? got some pics ??

well done, hope to see it soon

I started making the frame in May, so from then till now to get it in the car and running. :)

Its really weird the front, as its had new balljoints etc so its a little stiff :xxx:
but at the same time its light (10" wheels are bouncy!! think i need to adjust the dampers)
Think ill have to get it all setup properly first then i think there should be a huge improvement. and possibly weighed for new coils all round.

Only got to about 40mph as the garage we use is essentially in the next village, but it was banging on deceleration which was a bit funny,
but there was an improvement in the engine just from the tuning i did from driving there! so i think with some good driving around the back roads i should be able to get it running even better.

Not covered the engine yet still need to get some alloy sheet, but i cant fit it in the mini :w00t: so will have to wait till i can get some help to get it home.
But ill be making the cover and the boot, so will need a fair amount.

Also its the first time i got to check the speedo for accuracy, and it appears to work pretty darn well!! :)

But from a difference source, at a show.. and cost me £25. hehe.

Thanks :w00t:

Driveshaft is fixed and back in.

Went and had the suspension setup today and its a huge improvement!!
No more bump steering (or at least there wasnt any on the way home) its still bouncey from the 10" wheels, but its alot smoother!!!

Might have some pics of it being setup to post, will have to see later.
