 Welding not done because ran out of cutting discs
and new ones should have come today, but didnt,
so ive been trying to get panels fitting best i can till cutting discs arrive!!

boot floor is done and been fitting A panels and Scuttle, but cant weld them on till got cutting discs to repair the flitch under the scuttle.

Paint might arrive tomorrow or friday (so they say) but no rush because welding aint done!!
Still i can get quite a bit done today ready for the little bits that require cutting discs

Small update:

done some welding today, and scuttle is on, A panels are on, and rear valance is on, tomorrow i will remove the lip for a smooth bum!!

will also prep underneath for paint so while its on its side ill spray underneath and when its dry it can go level and stay level!!!

Got some grinding to do on some other bits,
but then i can start preparing and spraying!!

 :gimme:

got most of what i planned for today done,

bum is now bumperless and will need a little filler to smooth it out

got a little grinding to do underneath then ill get to painting it!!!!
Then ill let it dry and get on with finishing some grinding on the rest then preping the rest.

So by end of tomorrow the plan is to have the underneath sprayed, and the rest (minimum) preped!!!

Ordered some new bits (pipes), just hope they arrive on time!!!

 :gimme:

Yeap Hammerite!!! Its great stuff, and you dont need to primer it sticks to bare metal and even flakey rust (not that there is any)
Gonna do the rest with it as well, but with a white roof and white wheels, and white mirrors!!! :gimme: (and a smooth butt n lid)

Done some more work on Olive!!

Refurbed the rear subframe + radius arms

Painted bulk head and underneath (reason later) :P

Ran pipes and battery cable under car :P

and today put rear and front subframe/engine back on so its moveable (thats the reason) :gimme:

All i got now is to paint inside and out
Which i can do without getting paint on the running gear
and now the underneath wont get scratched

Rebuilding the engine is a job for another day/week

But now she is looking more like a MINI!!!!

(Its a good feeling to have her on all 4s :cheese: )
