Well is been a silly few days,
I found out what the problem was,
and have ordered some bits fix a problem with the MegaSquirt,
Hopefully these should be here tomorrow,
then as long as nothing else is broken i can get the engine running and on to driving

Im slowly running out of main things to do,
ive got some little bits to finish and tidy, but thats about it.

One of the major things left is fitting the arches,
which also happens to be my latest problem, i dont like the ones i have, or at least the rear ones!! >
So i might look for some different ones that i like but i dont know what will suit the car, and ones that are wide enough to cover the wheels.

Just for a laugh i decided to fit some of my brothers old wheels (std 12" cooper wheels) and i could almost get away with no arches talk about stealthy badger!! It looks really odd with 12" wheels

Also im probably going to get more springs for the coilovers so i can lower the car as it seems to be sitting rather high at the moment, (probably standard height!! )
Also looking at other body panels that can be replaced for fibreglass/carbonfibre/kevlar. Door skins would be one of them.

Im thinking of Miglia arches, but im not sure on which size to get?
normal or wide???? Am i right in thinking the Wides are 4"? If so what size are the normal ones?

I'm pretty sure the normal width are 3", but I'd like confirmation on that.

Sadly no, a transistor i'm waiting for (for the past serveral days) hasnt turned up yet, if it doesnt turn up tomorrow then the guy is going to send me another one, this is to fix the Megasquirt so the injectors work again (its for the injector driver circuit).

Apart from that ive got my boot lid so im fitting that, and ive got some other bits to order (like a boot seal and some shorter springs).

I might use my brothers 12" standard minilites for now as ive got to order some arches, as I might be able to get away with no arches .

Well shes running again!!

Problem now is i have an air lock ive got to get rid of.
So i made a little tank (bit of 22mm copper pipe) with a valve on top so i could bleed the air out.

On the other side of things ive got to wire in the instrument cluster which is the only thing i can think of that will be required to be road legal.
Have got to mount them in the dash first.

Also got to get some supplies to prep and paint the boot lid,
as well as the pins to hold it on.

Had some more ideas for some bits i might change in the future,
but I wont say anything till ive got to the point of doing them.

So as soon a i sort the airlock i should be able to test drive.
Then sort a few other bits and should be road legal.
