so i gave them saturday as well, so "if" they were posted then they "might" be here sometime this week.
But i had a problem i had to sort out though, because of the way the injection stuff works and the way i was operating the fuel pump (just on its own switch)
i ended up with ALL the cylinders full of fuel!!!
and this wouldnt have been bad by itself, but i could hear a dripping which was the fuel from the cylinders dripping into the oil!!
and you dont have to know engines to know that is bad. (4.5Ltrs of Oil wasted).
So i drained the oil/fuel mix and dropped the sump as far as i could (frame is in the way) put some more sealer on the sump,
and sealed a little hole on the sump that was hidden by the frame,
and put it all back together again, and now installed a wire so the ECU controls the FP.
On top of that i had a exhaust leak so that came apart for some sealer as well.
Sooo hopefully today i can do some tuning and get the engine running better so that when the parts do show i can try driving it.

i did a compression check and #2 seemed funny so i decided to remove the head for a look, and with the head off i also decided to strip it and reseat the valves.
Got to clean all the valves and put new valve stem seals in and finish cleaning the head
then stick it back together all in time for the new coil pack.
Also i might stick the standard ecu and stuff on just to get it running for now, and play with megasquirt later.

Got to get some more today, and ill probably do all the ports as well.
Then im going to blast a load of air through it to make sure its all out,
and then clean up all the valves and reassemble.
I might take this oppotunity to strip and paint the cam cover as well.

along with the timing belt, alternator, and inlet manifold,
I even got around to cleaning the cam cover up so its quite shiney at the mo,
(got some paint for it as well, but a few bits need finishing)
Hopefully tomorrow a replacement coil pack should turn up and i can see if that was the problem with the unfiring cylinder.
Before that happens ive got to put the exhaust back on, which i painted, and filled in some little holes that were in the welds
(black soot showed me where they were!!!!)
Ive also got to add some water to the coolant to top up what came out of the head.
