I have been working on it but nothing particularly picture worthy, really just alot of little bits.

Got some new suspension items, 2 sets of heavy duty adjustable bottom arms, Protech shocks all round (although i need to change springs).

Ive also made the driveshafts! Dont know how long they will last, but ill replace them in the future with some better ones.

Should have them installed either tonight or tomorrow,
and ive started on the front bracketry for the radiator/brace bars,
which should be finished tomorrow i hope.
Not long now till i can drive it up and down the road :proud:

Ed, you shouldn't need to change the front springs, just the back. What poundage will you use?

Yeah i was on about the rear springs,
currently they are 275lb springs, and they are too strong and too long so i cant lower the rear at all. Will probably get some 8" 220lb springs.

Yeah, thats the plan!!

Once i have all the parts to get it running/driving, and the suspension/engine setup, then depending on how much i have left then i might get the seats and harnesses.

Hopefully i can get the last bits i need by the end of the week then i should be able to drive it for the first time at the weekend, as by then i should have every thing else done. Will need to tune the engine as well at least enough to get it to a rolling road.

What are your plans for a bulkhead/heat shield from the engine?

I think this is amazing work by you, well done.

Im gonna get some alloy sheet and make a bulk head, but ive got a bar still to add to the cage that will go horizontal accross the front of the engine / back of the seats, and it will have mounts for the harnesses, and the bulk head will be built to this with the bottom part being fixed.

It just depends if we have the meets as it seems very difficult to get one organized as everyone seems busy :errr: but if they are on ill be there (as i have nothing to do).

Once its driving there is still quite a few side projects to do for it :proud: but i wont say anymore till i start them.

Ive got the driveshafts installed, the handbrake working, the gear shift working, and have mostly done the front radiator mount/brace bar
(old brace bars got in the way of the coilovers, so i made the frame that also holds the radiator). Just need to weld it all up and paint it, will be chopping the excess off the bottom when i take it all off.

Well now ive finished the front cage, and its back on the car, with rad mounts installed. I have also been doing up some bolts and other bits.

Now im just waiting on a part for the rear, and i need to fill the car with fluids and i can take it for a drive. :D :errr:

Ive put the front seat in and it feels like a nice seating position with the gear stick slightly further back, the column dropped, and the seat further back, theres a bit more leg room :-
Just need to get the right tilt on the seat (needs to be higher at the back, but carpet should sort this). However i might wait till i get some new seats.
