Went back and got wheels rebalanced with clip (hammer) on weights.

:gasp:
Thought i would test fit a wheel to see what arches i could get!!!

Please excuse the dirty car, needs a clean i know.

I measured from the outer edge of the tire to the wing, at the point where if i had side indicators thats where they would be, and this was 3" :erm: and please remember im still on drums!!!

Would also like to lower the car (its on the floor in the pics)

Well when i change to Discs thats gonna add another inch isnt it?
So my total width will be about 4", so i guess it might be ok with 1/2 inch sticking out???? unless its the tread.

Hi Ed4ran,

Project has really come on I see!

At the minute your picture would suggest you need Group 5 or Group Euro's or Group 2 wide. When you go for disks you may be into the Group 7 catagory at the front - not too sure about the rear though.

If you send me some dims I'll check our arches for you. :cheese:

6" Wellers have quite an offset - I used to run them on drum brakes with Sportspack Arches.

Regards,

Les.

Yeah, the projection from the top of the wheel. In-line with where the side repeater would normally be. same for the rear as well.
