Wooow, went for a spin up and down the street, and she revs like a *female dog* on heat!! and i didnt even get to open the second choke!!!
definatly need a top ultimate engine steady (any one got a 998 one lying around???)!!! and a second bonnet for a big hole and scoop!!

But im going to germany tomos for xmas, and will be back on the 27th.

Well i came back to find someone has left their air filter on my bonnet!! :)


hehehe i actually spent today getting the manifolds sitting better and then cut the hole in the bonnet, but hopfully my engine steady should arrive tomos!!!
Also found a bracket that (with a little modification) has made a very nice throttle cable bracket!! But then i went and snapped the brass bit on the end of the cable outer bit!!! New cable for me then!!

Ive also been looking for those bung things that fill the holes in the floor, anyone know the location on minispares??

Shes booked in for a Rolling Road setup in 2 weeks, (wed 18th) at MBE Race engines.
Cant wait!!! :grin:
See what power shes got, and hopfully by then i should have some other things sorted.

i have to agree with g111mds well done it looks fab. How did you manage to get such clean welds, especially your de-seamed rear valance?

then sand it smooth with a sanding disc on a grinder, then some filler.
Its not 100% perfect, but im pleased with it, considering its my first car/project. :grin:

Should be sorting the wheels/tires and arches out by the end of the month.
Will hopfully be upgrading to disc brakes soon as well.

Thanks :grin: , its just theres sum welds that have got to be done that i dont want showing. Your car will look good on sum alloys instead of steel wheels! Good site by the way pics have helped me with a few bits un peices on mine! :dontgetit:

That would be real good contrast against the black and matching white roof! What arches are you planning on getting?

Dont know yet, guess ill have to choose once i know how far the wheels stick out, would love it to have exposed weave carbon miglia arches but they will be way to wide, but i also like Group 2s

Yeah im planning on getting Carbon exposed weave miglia arches on mine as im gettin 10x7 MB Racing rims so it'd be just right on mine. Group 2's look good though definately with the wellers aswell! This minis gunna look awesome when its done i can tell good luck on gettin it finished! :dontgetit:
