so i got a lift to halfrauds to get some more brake fluid,
i got a bleed pipe while i was there (one with a one way valve)
and it was well worth the 3 pound!! Now there is some feeling in me brakes,
will test them tomos, and hopfully go back and get the mot cert!!!!
Also i hope me insurance papers arrive tomos, then i can get tax,
provided me papers arrive before the PO closes.

After bleeding the brakes last night it was just enough to get the MOT cert!!!!
and when i returned the post hadnt been yet with me insurance papers!! (about 11am)
and with the PO closing at 12 i was getting worried,
also the fact that the V5 says shes still green isnt good!!
So anyway i waited and waited and it got to 11:15 and the posty showed!!
(normal time is 1pm!!!!)
so i rush to get the V5 changed and all me other bits
rush to the PO and get me TAX!!! WOOOW
then get back home in time for some tea and crumpets!!!!!

Still got alot to do though!!
Today i stripped the carb to check it over, due to some problems ive been having with the engine.
Also ive stripped the heater as it was leaking, and the element seems ok so ive put it back together, so hopfully it wont leak any more. I just got to put that in then ill put the carpet in.

anyway after it ran so well i thought i would have a go with doing a colourtune tune up on it,
and it went funny after that, so i decided id try me weber.
I have approximately the right jets, so it should run ok till i get some better ones, but here it is installed, and ill try it tomos, all i need is to make a bracket for the accelerator cable if im going to have a drive.
But at the moment im still unsure if i should cut a huge hole in the bonnet????? maybe i should have a poll to decide?? maybe i need a poll to decide if i should have a poll???? or would that be going tooo far???
anyway pics!!!

that's exactly what I was thinking! Get a cheapy bonnet from somewhere to have a play with. See what it is like with the Weber, and if you don't like the way it runs, you can always put the old carb and bonnet back on! :wink:if i were you i would be getting another bonnet to cut so i could have one wiht and one without..... justa tyhought
looks awesome though! great work!
