Yeah its just 1inch foam glued to the roof, and then the vinyl will be glued to the foam.

Sorted most of the wiring tonight,
now stuff has been moved around,
and 80%+ of the wiring is behind the clocks!! :dontgetit:
90% finished, need to run the wires to the front for the ignition and the lights, and replace some rusty connectors.
Oh and about 50+ wires for the I/O interface.

Dash is coming together, once ive finished the wiring i should be able to start building the rest of the dash.

Didnt get round to finishing the head lining, but its another empty day tomorrow!! :dontgetit:

Head liners done, windows are in (need to do filler strips, and need tool for that)
done some more on the front, should have the mounts on tomorrow, then i can prep and paint it (and doors).

Todo:
Wiring,
front brake pipes (do i really need brakes?)
Front, and doors (fit and paint)
Bonnet rear mounts (brakets are made, just need the hole for the pin)
Seat belts,

hmmm cant think of anymore.

Oh interior light!! (most important!!)

Have had a bit of a change of plans about the dash,
Im not 100% yet but i think some things will be different, :fear:
and some things will go.

Just popped out to get one,

You can see the middle piece of foam is very slightly thicker than the other bits,
only realised this after they were stuck on, but its not really noticable inside the car,
and the rest of it is pretty neat, im happy with it (was also my first attempt at something like this). :saywhat:

Its nice and squidgy

Done some more sanding this morning,
just need to remove the old tape that has stuck itself to the wings,
then i need to sand the bonnet, and then they can be primed.
Then i can paint the front and the doors!!!
(and once they're fitted then there aint much left to do!!)

Looking nice and flatted! I take it you're having bonnet pins then!? Aren't you worried about people nicking your bonnet for a laugh? I'm concerned about my external bonnet opening and people knicken ht leads etc. I think i'll find out how to convert to internal bonnet opening.
