I concur with joe! We need regular updates, detailed picture's and a good description of what's going on! This build is top notch, I'll try and get to this standard in my 3rd rebuild!

It's finding the time, plus with PB going tits up its not that easy to load pics at the min.

Detailed pics of what? A mans got to keep some secrets 😂 But the plan this time around is it will be a 12sec car that's under 500kg.

There is so much weight saving going on with every part that's fitted.

The engine has been pulled to bits and it's had a new block as the bores was worn out.

A new main shaft as I snapped the end off the last one. Two new valves. A new cluch and flywheel as the last was wore out and cracked.

I was trying to get it to pod for mitp but after 2 weeks building from a bear shell 20hrs aday, I got it to the pic you see and was not happy with lots of stuff so I never took it in the end.

Now the plan is to have it at Avon on the 30/09/17

Long time no update,

Good news the mk1 has been on the hub dyno some weeks back to run the engine in, it made a respectable 204bhp at the wheels not bad on 1/2 boost and at 6k.

Also I got some car scales now and it's 495kg wet weight so not to bad

I have got on to instagram now and I find it much easier to keep updated with what I have been up to on the car, so if your still looking for updates with pics feel free to give me a follow under turbomk1mini
