You're knurling now?! Amazing. I'm jealous.
 
Where are you getting all these aluminum parts from, like the central instrument panel and door latch? You aren't making those, are you?
 
Last question - were you showing the weight of just the A-series block sans gearbox?


Lol I showed you these pics days ago did I not Joe? I will email you some if you like?

Yes mate making them myself in my little shed. The rear boot lock was about 8hrs worth of work.

It's a full 1275 turbo engine I picked up last month, that weight was full engine with no bolt ons.

You did not send me photos of knurling. I would surely remember that. Knurling is the only machining process that increases part dimensions. It's like magic or something.

 

Fab'ing all these yourself? Then I'm really impressed. It is probably a good idea for you to make duplicates of all these parts and send them to me for testing. Don't worry - I won't charge you for my testing service. You have my address.

Sorry mate I thought I had :-/ not sure I will be making more lol. First time was enough . Plus I need to get on with the other bits and bobs I have in my head, before the dead line gets closer......
