I would not say I loved it! It was just getting cold and wet in a different part of the world, best part about being down there is the 55p cans of beer in the mess.

Ooooo, that's fighting talk!
No that would be no fun, plus I like being the fastest 5 port mini lolThat's quite a weight saving on the box!
A bit surprised you haven't changed to a bike engine or other for more weight saving!
I get it completely :)

Excited to see the water injection kit fitted and working. I'm planning something similar.

Oooo I see what you mean now pad ! The Challenge is laid then lol should be 20-30kgs lighter buy the time all the titanium on and the gunk gone !
Only 20 kg lol, trust me there is lots of wheels in motion at the min and lots of very smart super light weight one off bits building up in boxes at the min.
the car has taken a very back seat, as I have been super sick with some skin eating disease.

First up I have been doing some small bits at nights on the lathe...
And then that leads me on to the carb
All rebuilt, and lots of weight saved from it, also a new heat shield made.
Next up was a little task more to see if I could so I think I will go for it..
Normal one on the left and my alloy one on the right.
Fits well.
This started at 375g
Most of this is remade 😀
Just as a benchmark a standard ish engine.
The airfix mk1 turnned up last week 😄😄
And then today I loaded it all up and moved it on...
That's all at the min that I would like to show 😜😜😜😜

You're knurling now?! Amazing. I'm jealous.
Where are you getting all these aluminum parts from, like the central instrument panel and door latch? You aren't making those, are you?
Last question - were you showing the weight of just the A-series block sans gearbox?
