Ok then a big update so i will let the pics do the chatting.
So I went to minispeed today and got all the bits I needed to get started.
I got the wife in to help with the cam timing.
All done
also I finished the blanking plate
And sorted this out

well i have been working on the car this weekend got a good cash deal on this lot (you dont ask you dont get lol) ended up working to 4am last night when it was cool.

Absolutely stunning mini mate! Im going turbo as well, using a t2 on mirage manifolds.
I've got an electronic oil temp gauge and i've been trying to find a place to put the sensor for ages. Just seen on your engine that you have it in a spacer piece behind the filter housing. Do you know if anyone makes this? Also that looks like a standard water temp sensor as fitted in the cylinder head, i assume this works fine.

I also fitted the oil temp sender
This little bad boy has turned up to
I sat and sorted the loom out for the new stack gauges and to replace the edis plug for the Megajolt, as I didn't like what it turning into. Thanks Rob for the plug.
I got the new oil drain sorted. ( the hose in the pic is for mock up only as it's a bit small:-D)
turbo water cooling lines sorted.
This was the last dry build with all the bits and bobs
