you were very licky with a diesels high compression they normaly do bend a rod :'(

if its a diesel surely it shouldnt of stalled unless you were flying into the ford just something i picked up off top gear otherwise why would they use diesels for off roading - wasnt a nasty comment just something i picked up off top gear :-

off road cars have a snorkel so the air pipe is high up

as i said the air filter is at the lowest part of the car so that is the first thing to be submerged and sadly one of the only things that cannot be under water but you live and learn don’t think i will be taking my 306 for another swim lol

Peugeut diesels/ diesels in general are pretty strong, seen a couple of diesels suck up water when i've been off roading but they were both ok after taking the plugs and injectors out and turning them over.


Still lucky though!

This is a pic of the wheels that i will be getting but need them in white. could someone please tell what and how is the best way to change the colour of the wheels

There was an old turbo one it was a 1lt 3 cylinder, but i havent heard of or seen one in the uk,
think i might just have been sold under another company (such as chevrolet) in America/Canada,
best bet is to look on www.teamswift.net as they have a section for sock turbo cars.

but as a stock Swift Turbo i havent heard of one.
