GoD[Zander,Oct 12 2005, 08:53 AM] i am hopeing it will be even if its not i will be there in a mini little black *Female doggy* she wont let me down

Thats not very nice to talk to your car like that... unless she is called that. Well i hope it is ready, will be good to see it go down the strip if you take it, also are you still doing the trailer for it?

Well thats ok then if your calling her by her name lol. How hard is it to do a trailer? I may eventually do one for mine so i can get more stuff in it, its there any legal issues with doing it?

well if your mini is over a certain age you aren’t meant to pall a trailer but very few police no this or care as for building just cut the back end off a mini make a new side and add a toe bar job done in simple terms

looking good scott your really getting into it now then! you should be fine with the trailer as i think the only minis that cant tow are the 97 on twin points, and thats only because of some EU approval law, nothing to do with the car!

Hi Scott, Matt here from Oz I am doing a Toyota Starlet GT (Turbo) conversion. The Suzi conversion is possibly the easiest (a relative term) of the Jap engine conversion due to size. There are at least 2 or 3 running around Oz so it is more than possible. At least one is turbo'd as was putting out around 150bhp. I can agree that the GTI's weakest link is the gearbox but I believe there are some solutions to this. Anyway good luck with it and forget the naysayers I am almost finished on mine and still get people telling me it won't work...
